CORINNE EISLER, RD, Registered Dietitian and Pediatric Nutrition Expert

Corinne is a Registered Dietitian and Pediatric Nutrition Expert and has helped many families with nutrition assistance for their infants and children.  Areas of expertise include help with food allergies, intolerances, moderate to severe eczema, suspected low iron status or anemia, assistance with conventional diets or vegetarianism, picky eating, possible eating disorders, underweight, overweight, constipation, possible nutrient shortfalls, and help with individual circumstances (athletic levels, movement issues, autism spectrum disorder etc.).   She is also passionate about issues related to fostering a healthy food system, and advocates for promotion of healthy locally grown food as much as possible.  

She uses a positive and client centred approach, whereby nutrition goals and recommendations are discussed in the context of the whole family and what is important in their lives.   She looks forward to helping children and families reach their best health possible in a caring and respectful manner which enhances dignity and self esteem.  

Corinne is a graduate of the University of Windsor, Ontario, where she received her BA in Nutrition and Spanish, and she also has a post graduate degree in Public Health Nutrition from the University of Toronto. She also completed her Dietetic Internship at Vancouver General Hospital, including an intensive rotation in pediatrics from the British Columbia Children’s Hospital.  

Corinne is a member of the College of Dietitians of British Columbia, and Dietitians of Canada.  She has worked as a Vancouver Coastal Health Community Dietitian for much of her professional career, and in addition, she operates a small private practice.
