LISA HOLOWAYCHUK, BSc(OT), Occupational Therapist

Lisa completed her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 1996 at the University of Alberta.  After graduating, Lisa went on to pursue her interest in pediatrics.  She later focussed on working with both adult and geriatric populations.  She has practiced occupational therapy for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience including neurological, musculoskeletal, pulmonary and respiratory, psychological and sensory processing disorders as well as developmental delay. She has worked with both children and adults with complex disabilities. As a treating therapist, she has assisted her clients in becoming as independent as possible within their home and community environments and strongly focusses on quality of life and turning baby steps into milestones.  Lisa is skilled in home assessments for the provision of adaptive and mobility equipment, seating assessments, home modifications and hospital discharge planning.  She has many professional and personal goals and is always driven by providing the best services she can to see her clients be successful in every aspect of their lives.  Her motto is : “Everyone achieves their goals in their own time.  No one is too early or too late, but right on time”
