REETPAL BRAR, BSc., MOT, Registered Occupational Therapist
Reetpal graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She went on to complete a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy in 2008. Upon graduation, Reetpal worked in a hospital setting on the orthopedic and rehabilitation wards, as well as gaining experience in personal care homes and outpatient clinics.
In 2010 Reetpal moved to the Cayman Islands to work for the Department of Education. While in Cayman, Reetpal worked in the Early Intervention Programme, primary schools, clients’ homes, and a private clinic.
Reetpal is dedicated to working closely with children, parents, and caregivers to create a family centered, holistic approach to services. She has completed all 4 levels of the Ayres Sensory Integration Certification at the University of Southern California. She applies these assessment and treatment principals when treating children with Sensory Processing Dysfunction, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Reetpal also has experience working with children with a wide range of other diagnoses, including Global Developmental Delays, Fine Motor and Visual Motor delays, DCD, Dyspraxia, Cerebral Palsy, and Down Syndrome.

Reetpal has recently relocated to Vancouver. She is excited to join the Leap Therapy team and bring her skills to children and families on the North Shore. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, crafts, reading, yoga, and travel. She is a member of the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC), the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
